Mixology is all about creating new products through experimentation with Colorlab Private Label's Custom Cosmetic Systems. Following are just a few of the mixology recipes we've gathered. If you wish, you can use them as a springboard to create your own. We'd love to hear about your mixology, too. Show us your stuff and you could win $100 in Colorlab Private Label products! Just send in the recipes you've been creating using Colorlab Private Label's custom lip, mineral or foundation systems. Our staff will test the products and select a winner from all those received. The winner will receive $100 in Colorlab products and have their recipe featured in our next newsletter. NATURAL GLOW COLLECTION

We’ve added a twist to Mixology this issue. Our Resident Makeup Artist, Andi Ward, has created a custom collection, Natural Glow, which will give your clients’ skin that healthy, ‘no makeup’ look. These products are gentle enough to be worn post-treatment or just for everyday beauty. There are 3 looks; Light, Medium and Dark, that each include a Luminiging Powder, Eye Glaze, Mineral Eyeshadow, Illuminating Concealer, Lipstick and Lip Gloss, to match all skin levels.

How to Apply: Apply Luminizing Powder all over for glowing skin. Dot Eye Glaze onto lid and blend up through brow bone. Apply Eyeshadow to lids. Smooth Illuminating Concealer under eyes and anywhere else that needs a brightening touchup. Finish with Lipstick and top with Lip Polish.

¾ t. Sunlight Gold MP
3/8 t. Translucent Modifier
¼ t. Gold Dust
1/8 t. Morganite Frost

Mix all ingredients in a cup and microwave for 6 seconds.

Mix all ingredients in a cup and microwave for 6 seconds.
